Filipe Da Assunçao
In 1989, Filipe Da Assunçao graduated from L’Ecole de Paris des Métiers de la Table where he received his CAP Cuisine (Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle) and was awarded best student.
After his studies, he integrated different institutions such as Le Grand Hôtel Intercontinental or Joël Robuchon’s restaurant as First Kitchen Help.
A few years later, Filipe Da Assunçao returned to Le Grand Hôtel Intercontinental de Paris and held the position of Assistant to Head Chef for more than 3 years. At the same time, he took part in the “Plat Froid Artistique à la journée Gourmande d’Arpajon” competition where he earned the second prize as well as the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” contest in 1996 where he earned the first place.
Over 20 years, Chef Da Assunçao has worked in various hotels such as Mariott, La Tremoille or le Marignan, as well as in many gastronomic restaurants such as La Closerie des Lilas ou L’Escargot as Head Chef.
Filipe Da Assunçao joined Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris in 2018 as Executive Chef.
