The heir to four generations of bakers and pastry chefs from the Alsace region of France, Pierre Hermé began his career at 14 as an apprentice to Gaston Lenôtre. He worked at Fauchon until 1996, leaving to set up his own pâtisserie named Pierre Hermé Paris – a stratospherically successful empire that has expanded worldwide since 2010 and now boasts several dozen outlets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, plus the online boutique www.pierreherme.com

The man Vogue dubbed “the Picasso of Pastry” is celebrated in France, Japan and the United States for revolutionising the art of pâtisserie for contemporary tastes. With “pleasure as his only guide”, Pierre Hermé has invented a totally original world of flavours, sensations and delights.

All our restaurants’ desserts are made by Pierre Hermé Paris throughout the year (except for Matsuhisa Paris), as well as the cakes and confectionery served in our bar, at our receptions, and by room service.
